The post-Gado MR images above show a medium sized enhancing lesion in the left frontal lobe; the fluid within is of CSF density, but there is no visible scolex. However, the child recieved three months of appropriate doses of anti-tubercular drugs, hence he has been started on dexamethasone, cysiticidal drugs (albendazole), and oxcarabazepine.
Tomorrow I will post details of my literature search on the topic of reappearing CNS granulomas.
